Have You Picked Up Your Copy of 'Inventor's Digest' Today?

Friday, September 26 2008

I’ve been reading Inventor’s Digest for several years now. And even though I’ve been inventing for over twenty-five, I always find something new and insightful in every issue. I know what I get out of the magazine, but I interviewed editor Mike Drummond to convince you of all that the
production offers! Inventors Digest Magazine
“Our primary goal is to educate and inform entry level and enterprise inventors, but we also strive to entertain them. The magazine explores the intersection of business and innovation, and how to profit from that intersection,” Drummond explained.

As you and I know all too well, he confirmed that the landscape we’re subject to is often “foggy with misinformation and lack of information.” Inventor’s Digest wants to clear that fog.

“We want inventors to understand that an idea isn’t a product, and that a product isn’t worth anything if the consumer isn’t interested in buying it. We are bridging the gap between ideas and money. Money is not a four-letter word for us – it’s okay to want to profit from your inventions. We want to help.”

So, what sort of useful information does Inventor’s Digest really offer? What can you reallyMike Drummand - Editor Inventors Digest apply?

“Delivering applicable, useful information is in our mission statement – every issue contains it. Specifically, we have an exclusive editorial arrangement with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Every month, commissioners answer questions. We also have several veteran columnists who tackle all potential hurdles inventors face to the marketplace, including licensing, manufacturing, and prototyping,” Drummand explains.

The magazine also features a “first person” feature, a section in which inventors may retell (in their own words!) their experiences and pitfalls. Drummond also assures that “in almost every issue you will find some specific information that will protect you from scams.”

As is clear, Inventor’s Digest offers a little something for inventors of all levels and desires; it provides accounts that are easy to relate to and always full of great information.
