Hydroentangled hybrid. (Nonwovens).

A way of continuously making a complicated nonwoven is the subject of European Patent EP 1 246 958.

Rieter ICBT of Valence, France, discloses a hybrid fabric that is basically a multi-layer structure combined by hydroentanglement.

The inventor claims that the continuous process makes bonded hybrid nonwovens that have good mechanical properties while retaining the appearance, handle and flexibility of a conventional textile such as a woven fabric.

The invention itself consists of three important aspects:

* a nonwoven of air-laid short st
