In Stephen F. Nathans's August NONLINEAR EDITOR column, "World of Wonders" (p. 6), you touched on a gnawing problem that I've seen plaguing our industry for the last five years of the 17 years I've been doing event videography: There are too many people getting married who just don't want to invest in wedding video!
Actually, when I try to convince a bride of the value of wedding video, I use a variation of the "Robert Allen" argument that Nathans cited. I take a DVD case, place it in front of the customer, and say, "Here is your grandparents' wedding video. What is th
