Federal Prosecutors Probe Broward County, Fla., Office Building Deal.

Feb. 14--A federal grand jury investigating an office building deal of the North Broward Hospital District is questioning hospital officials, at least one board member and others involved in the project, four sources close to the case said Friday.

The FBI and federal prosecutors want to know whether officials of the tax-assisted hospital system gave special favors to the project's developers, who have political connections with hospital officials, the sources said.
