A privately held manufacturer of heavy-duty truck/trailer suspension bushings and its president have pleaded guilty to Clean Air Act violations, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

William R. Mullins, president of Dayton-based Mullins Rubber Products Inc., pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to four counts of making false statements to the EPA regarding airborne discharges of a machine-degreasing solvent containing trichloroethylene.
