BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Former senior vice president of Fox Licensing and Merchandising, Jamie Samson, has been appointed executive vice president of business and legal affairs, and general counsel for Jamba and Fox Mobile Entertainment. Samson joins Jamba from a thriving tenure at Fox Licensing and Merchandising. She has served in various positions beginning as counsel for Fox Licensing in 1991, becoming vice president that same year and senior vice president in 1995. Samson has also overseen legal and business affairs for Fox's former video game production division. Previous to Fox, Samson started her career at MGM in New York, then moved to Los Angeles and worked at Lorimar as a TV attorney.
