SYRACUSE - CB Richard Ellis of Syracuse has completed a number of commercial real-estate transactions over the last few months. The most recent was the sale of Circle Road Plaza in Cicero, a 172,000square-foot, retail-shopping center anchored by P&C, Fleet Bank, and Chase Bank. A Florida-based
Finn and broker Alan Gramet sold Fleet Bank's former 2,268-squarefoot Auburn branch, located at 342 W. Genesee St., to the Bank of Geneva for $364,000. The two men also sold the 3,500-square-foot former Fleet Bank in Brewerton, located at 9556 Main St. (Route 11), to Oswego County National Bank for $1.7 million in April.
Also in April, Ellis broker Don French represented J. Fergus, Inc, who purchased 1.44 acres located on Route 13 in Cortland. David Yaman Real Estate Services represented the seller, SCWP, LLC. J. Fergus, Inc. will construct a 7,000-square-foot Advance Auto Parts store on the site.
Additionally, James Nobles purchased 2.92 acres in the Radisson Corporate Park on Route 31 in Lysander. The New York State Urban Development Corporation sold the land in March. Nobles plans to commercially develop the property, but has not released further details.
Other recent transactions include the sale of a 10,000-square-foot building located at 6170 Eastern Ave. in Syracuse. Patricia Paddock sold the land to James Larotta for $375,000. Larotta will be using the facility for materials handling and distribution.
Gramet brokered the sale of an 8,000-square-foot building at 7625 Northern Blvd. in Cicero for $325,000 to T&K Realty - which will be using the property for its business. Ken Rotundo and Roy Dornfield sold the property, and the deal was co-brokered with the NAI Pyramid Brokerage Company.
Haylor, Freyer & Coon sold a 3,000-square-foot building at 308 E. Broadway St. in Fulton for $75,000 to Cosimo and Claudette Borzumate for use as an accounting office.
Lancaster Steel Services Company, Inc. leased 20,340 square-feet at the Northland Industrial Park, located at 4662 Dey Road in Clay. Ellis broker Ed Yennock arranged the deal. It is the first Central New York location for. Lancaster Steel, which is based near Buffalo.
Finally, Susan McSweeney sold a 1,500-square-foot building at 222 Highbridge St. in Fayetteville to David Wyman for $105,000. Phil Willard cobrokered the deal with Sutton Real Estate. Wyman plans to use the space as an insurance office.
