Molaski Calls for Uniformity in State Licensing.

RENO, NEV.-- Unless states conform to the Federal Financial Modernization Act, which was enacted Nov. 12, 1999, "State regulation of insurance, and insurance commissioners in particular, will become like dinosaurs and they will be extinct"

Those were the chilling words expressed by Nevada's Insurance Commissioner Alice Molaski at the opening session of the 2000 Nevada Claim Conference here on May 11.
