FRANCE TELECOM GETS ART GREEN LIGHT IN EXCHANGE FOR CONCESSIONS.

France's Telecommunications Regulator (ART) confirmed on January 22 that it has approved a request from France Telecom to raise subscription fees, whilst requiring further concessions from the operator to stimulate competition. Competing operators have meanwhile expressed their "grave disappointment", accusing the Regulator of favouritism towards France Telecom and insisting that the increase in subscription fees will be "detrimental to consumers".
