Licensee Hits Next Wave Of Spectrum Dispute.(Company Business and Marketing)(Brief Article)

NextWave Personal Communications Inc. still is doing what it can to stop the FCC from selling spectrum it won at auction several years ago.

NextWave last week filed a second petition with the U.S. Supreme Court seeking a reversal of a May decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The first Supreme Court petition was filed in June regarding the Second Circuit's December 1999 decision.

In what appears to be a mere formality, the company asked the FCC to stay the re-auction of C- and F-Block PCS licenses it won in 1996.
