MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1998-- Northeast Digital Networks Inc.'s (Nasdaq:GSMI) wholly owned subsidiary, Personal Communications Network ("PCN"), announced Wednesday that RF Engineering has been completed for the initial launch of the company's proposed GSM network in Vermont.

According to Joseph Rosio, CEO: "The completion of the RF Engineering is an important milestone for Northeast Digital. This is just another positive step in going forward with the roll-out of our business plan."

Northeast Digital Networks Inc. ("NDN"), through its wholly owned PCN subsidiary, is engaged in the development and, subject to obtaining adequate financing, prospective construction of a wireless communications network as a predicate to becoming a wireless carrier providing PCS services. PCN acquired PCS licenses in the December 1996 FCC C-Block auction covering portions of Vermont, Maine and upstate New York. NDN's wholly owned subsidiary, Threshold Communications Inc., owns and operates an FCC licensed Glenayre 900MHz Flex Paging Network covering metropolitan New York City, New Jersey and Southern Connecticut.
