Jun. 11--Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach, the shareholder lawsuit powerhouse based in San Diego and New York, is poised to split into West Coast and East Coast operations.
The breakup would divide the largest contingent-fee plaintiff's securities firm in the country, ending a 35-year run during which it won millions in awards and settlements from corporations and executives.
