Guide to Registering Trademarks, from Aspen Law & Business (New York), is a volume designed to help practitioners obtain trademark registration. Editorial covers a trademark prosecution, including conducting a search, determining whether a mark qualifies under US Patent & Trademark Office

(PTO) guidelines, applications, responding to an Office Action, and opposing a trademark application based on prior use. It also includes studies of cases decided by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the Federal Circuit, and the decisions of the Commissioner.
