The concept of prepaid legal services is similar to that of health insurance a consumer pays a fixed amount each year or month in exchange for certain (legal) service benefits to be used as and if needed. Acts as a national information and technical assistance resource. Provides information and assistance on regulation and tax status of prepaid and group legal plans. Reviews documents and makes suggestions. Arranges for speakers to participate in educational programs sponsored by other organizations. Conducts limited research for members and other groups.
