Agere Systems Employees in Holmdel, N.J., to Move to Campus in Allentown, Pa.

Oct. 14--About 200 employees at Agere Systems who have been working at Lucent Technologies's Bell Labs in Holmdel will move to Agere's main campus in Allentown, Pa., when its lease at Bell Labs expires at the end of next year.

For more than a year, Agere, Lucent's former microelectronics division that was spun off in 2002, has been moving its New Jersey work force to Pennsylvania. Those workers included about 100 in Berkeley Heights, as well as other employees in Murray Hill
