Park-Ohio may lose state incentives.(News; Park-Ohio Holdings Inc.)

The Ohio Department of Economic Development may revoke incentives it granted to Park-Ohio Holdings Inc. for a new Cleveland operation because the company plans layoffs at its nearby Geneva Rubber plant.

In its application for a low-interest loan and job training grant, Park-Ohio said no jobs at Geneva Rubber would be affected by its expansion in Cleveland. But the manufacturer last month gave notice it will lay off 161 workers at the Harpersfield, Ohio, site beginning June 3.
