DOSKOCIL ANNOUNCES EARLY RATIFICATION OF LABOR AGREEMENT.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 2, 1994--Doskocil Companies Incorporated (Nasdaq: DOSK) announced today the early ratification of a labor agreement at a manufacturing facility owned by one of its subsidiaries, Wilson Foods. The agreement between Wilson Foods and the local union

at its Cherokee, Iowa manufacturing plant is set to take effect on January 2, 1995 and replaces the current agreement with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union set to expire in May of 1995. The new agreement will run until March, 1999. The Cherokee facility manufactures the Company's premium Deli products which are marketed under the Wilson's Continental Deli label, as well as other quality food products marketed to foodservice and retail customers.

Doskocil produces, markets and distributes branded and processed food products under proprietary brand names that include Wilson Foods , Corn King , Wilson's Continental Deli , American Favorite , Doskocil Foods , Jefferson Meats , Fred's , Rotanelli's , Posada , and Butcher Boy . The Company's products include pepperoni and beef and pork toppings marketed to the pizza industry, appetizers, Mexican and Italian foods, as well as boneless hams, sausage, bacon, and other branded and processed products for the foodservice, delicatessen and retail markets.
