Goodyear Labor Offer Not Good Enough, Union Says.

Apr. 17--The United Steelworkers of America say Goodyear's current labor offer is "dead on arrival" and contract negotiations might go into overtime.

A six-year master contract expires at midnight Saturday covering workers at 11 plants, including about 800 people in Akron.

The Steelworkers claim the company seeks almost $1 billion in givebacks without any promises of saving union jobs.
