Frontier Airlines pilots and dispatchers agree to temporary concessions.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Two unions representing Frontier Airlines employees have ratified agreements for temporary wage and benefit concessions, the airline said on Wednesday (21 May).

Members of the Frontier Airlines Pilots Association,

which represents more than 700 pilots, and the Transportation Workers Union, which represents the airline's dispatchers, voted to approve the tentative agreements that were reached last week with their union leaders.

Frontier said that the concessions would help the airline as it attempts to, among other things, secure debtor in possession financing. The concessions will be re-evaluated in September, based on the company's financial position and the current economic conditions.
