Vancouver, Wash., Newspaper Press Workers File Union Complaint.

May 7--The Eugene Web Pressman's Union representing 17 Columbian newspaper press workers has filed an unfair labor practices complaint against the newspaper with the National Labor Relations Board in Portland.

The claim asserts that Columbian managers "restrained and coerced employees" by conducting a recent poll of employees regarding their support for or against the union. The results were used to withdraw recognition of the union in violation of collective bargaining rules, the claim
