Sep. 2--Most of the Harleys had gone home by the time the Labor Day parade began Monday morning.
No one had set up lawn chairs or tents to stake out a prime viewing location on downtown streets.
But what the spectators lacked in number, they made up for in enthusiasm, clapping and waving as union workers marched in support of fair wages, decent working conditions and an end to job cuts.
