NEPA's top 20 under 40: Always meet commitments

Personal interest, curiosity and a passion to continue learning drove Steve Willison 35, owner and founder of NEPATickets.com, in Forty Fort, to go in a new direction and start a Web-based company. He also works as a senior production manager at Fairchild Semiconductor and earned professional certifications

for human resources and project management. Willison earned his bachelor's degree in human resources management and a masters in business administration with a concentration on finance.

Going up against the large competitors in a constantly moving market offers daily challenges for the small NEPATickets.com. From the beginning though the ticket sales company was profitable, he said. Lately, the recent economic downturn has exacerbated the challenge, he said.

"My business philosophy is to develop my business and products to the maximum of their potential in all ways to enhance the services provided to our partners and customers," he said. A commitment to continuing improvement will be key to future success, he added.
