May 2--A polo shirt and khaki pants won't do the trick anymore.
Shirts, ties and sports coats -- if it's not too hot -- became required attire in February for salesmen at First Team Automall in Roanoke when the auto dealership's new facility opened.
"At first they were reluctant" about having to buy suits, said Scott Terry, a salesman at First Team. "But that has pretty much died down. It's a whole respect factor. If you're dressed up and proud, it actually does help
