TeamStaff, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSTF), a leading outsourcer of business solutions and Professional Employer Organization, announced today that it has signed a contract with Lawson Software to license a software system

Commenting on the transaction, Donald W. Kappauf, President and CEO of TeamStaff said, "We have been looking at the software programs available to the industry over the last few years and have determined that Lawson's system offers the Company the best-in-class technology to allow us to provide our customers better service and increase our efficiencies. Our new BrightLane division, with all their technical expertise will coordinate the Lawson project with our PEO management and corporate staff. Management intends to initially enter new clients on the Lawson system beginning around the first of the year, and then migrate existing clients from our current systems thereafter."

Kappauf continued, "With the multiple acquisitions the company has made over the years, the company operates several different software systems consolidating all of these platforms to a single program will facilitate financial reporting and enhance service quality through an Internet-based system."
