Benefits for part-timers may be on the rise as more companies implement their use to attract workers.

Besides techies, there's another group of employees that's benefiting from the shrinking labor market: part time workers.

As more employers rely on part-timers to fill work gaps, some are either introducing or expanding benefit packages for those working reduced hours. The recruitment and retention strategy seems to be working since part-timers feel more valued by employers, view their workplaces as employee friendly and ultimately stay longer at their jobs
