Dec. 20--Farmer Jack will close more stores in metro Detroit as part of continued cost cuts at the grocery chain.
It is unclear how many stores face closure, but the Detroit-based retailer, a unit of Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. of Montvale, N.J., announced late Friday that it had reached a new labor agreement with its union.
