He reckons the deal was secured because TPS can offer a full service in-house. That includes policy fulfilment, a call centre, medical screening and claims handling. Single trip and annual policies are offered on the National Express website to ticket buyers. TPS already provides travel insurance for National Express's sister company Eurolines.

We make a competitive product offer, and our web development expertise combines to form an attractive proposition for companies wishing to add travel insurance to their own customer offer." TPS was set up in 1990 and employs 60 people in Norwich.
