Apr. 6--Today is the deadline for potential buyers to bid for bankrupt manufacturer Tri-County Tube Inc., and a new owner could provide relief to employees who have struggled to cope with the company's financial troubles.
So far one potential buyer has submitted a bid for the Clinton-based manufacturer of exhaust tubing, which has employed about 200.
Others who want to be considered must deliver a $400,000 deposit to Knoxville attorney Dean Farmer, who is
