Bank insurance revenue rose 22% in 2004.(Short Interests)

NEW YORK - Insurance revenue reported to the Federal Reserve by U.S. bank holding companies grew 22% higher than 2003's total revenue, according to an analysis released this month by the American Bankers Insurance Association.

This revenue grew by $7.3 billion last year, to $40.8 billion.
