Roy Evans joins the PBS Scottish underwriting team as commercial underwriter. He joins from Axa where he was commercial new business underwriter in Glasgow. Prior to that he spent ten years at R&SA.

Ramsay Adams joins Software Solutions Partners as head of sales. He was previously managing director for the EMEA region of IBM subsidiary DWL, and before that was director of sales and marketing at Computer Sciences Corporation.

Moorhouse

Jan Wilkins is appointed corporate client service director at Moorhouse Group. She joins from Aon where she was client service director for the Cardiff and Bristol operations.

Evolution

Evolution Underwriting has appointed Damian Frampton as trainee business development executive. He was formerly an account executive with Linaker (Western) Ltd in Bristol, and previously a home advisor and risk surveyor with Direct Line and a loss adjuster with GAB Robins.

Healthcare programme manager Medisure has appointed Cath Applin as senior insurer case manager. She is a qualified occupational therapist and worked in the UK and Australia in rehabilitation case management and consultant roles.

Pippa Donovan is appointed public sector relationship director. Originally a clinical therapist in the NHS, she has ten years' experience in healthcare, and held senior positions in Acute Mental Health Services, Royal Mail Group Occupational Health and Atos Origin Medical Services.

Groupama

Groupama Insurances has appointed Ken Hutchinson to the newly created role of e-business trading manager, working closely with the imarket initiative and Polaris, other imarket insurer sponsors, software houses and designated brokers and partners. He brings over 11 years' e-business experience gained during six years at Groupama, most recently as e-commerce manager - bespoke operations.

Axiom

Insurance services and consultants Axiom Consulting has appointed Mark Sullivan as head of claims. A former head of reinsurance at Xchanging he has more than 16 years' experience in the Lloyd's and London insurance market.

Cardif Pinnacle

Cardif Pinnacle has appointed Carl Oakes as a business development manager. He joins from MBNA, having previously worked for HBOS group.

RFIB

John Northridge joins the hoard of Lloyd's insurance and reinsurance broker RFIB Group (previously Robert Fleming Insurance Brokers) as a non executive director. He was previously chairman and CEO of broking group Alfred Blackmore for 15 years until its acquisition by Alexander Forbes in 2001. He left the group in November 2003.

Commercial insurance broker The Insurance Partnership has appointed Lee Sutton as senior account executive. He has over 14 years' experience as an insurance broker.

Allianz Cornhill

Koisin Walsh has keen appointed IT operational procedures and governance manager based in Guildford. She was previously an IT consultant and provided expert level services in business process flow based on ITIL best practice and BS 15000 initiatives.

Allianz Cornhill finance division has appointed Paul Rowcliffe as operational risk manager in group risk management.

The claims division has appointed David Watkins as technical claims manager, with 12 years' experience in global risks, head office claims and UK property claims.

Michelle Juchau has been appointed as health and safety manager. She previously worked as an inspector of heath and safety with the Health and Safety Executive.

Darren Wills is appointed claims handling centre manager at Milton Keynes. He spent the last three years as a self-employed general insurance consultant working with insurers on process and claims reengineering projects.

Steve King joins travel insurer Crispin Speers & Partners as travel insurance manager. His 21 years' travel insurance experience includes being managing director at JSM Insurance Management.

Illium

Illium Managing Agency has appointed David Feldman as compliance officer and company secretary. He joins from Brit Insurance where he was deputy head of the internal audit & review division and prior to that, head of underwriting review. He also spent three years as regulatory officer in Lloyd's underwriting agents department.

SME underwriting agency Anglo Pacific Consultants has promoted Inn Russell to underwriting director. He has heen with APC for 11 years.

Towergate

Towergate Partnership has appointed Victoria Hague as integration manager. She moves across from the group audit role, having joined Towergate 18 months ago from ? senior audit position in Del Monte.

Alan Cockerill has joined Towergate London Market as a motor fleet renewals account handler. He joins from R L Davison where he worked for almost 25 years as a broking & schemes fleet risks account handler.

Yvonne Young joins as a motor fleet account handler following the acquisition of Bray Wintour Patis by the Towergate Group. She previously worked at Marsh for two years as an account handler.

Provider of general insurance IT solutions Room Solutions has appointed Richard Tyler as the new head of its financial business unit. He joins from ACE European Group, where he was strategic financial projects manager. A previous role included accounting manager at Chubb Insurance.

Multiassistance

Repair and improvement company Multiassistance has promoted Scott Stewart to manage the recently refocused UK Control Centre. He joined from the Home Office in 2003.

Keelan Westall

Commercial property insurance broker Keelan Westall has appointed Paul Ellis as sales manager. With 18 years' direct sales experience, he is a qualified trainer, motivational coach and trainer. Previous roles include European sales & marketing director at Towry Law and senior account manager, First Choice Health.

Finsure

Premium finance subsidiary of NIG, Finsure has appointed Linda Lo Castro as marketing manager. She holds a BSc in business studies and has previously worked as a senior marketing executive for NIG.

Equity

Equity Insurance Group has appointed David Grant as head of sales and marketing at Equity Red Star, with responsibility for promoting the brand and reinforcing Equity's position in motor insurance and other personal lines. He was previously with NIG for 11 years.

BHSF

Birmingham-based healthcare insurer BHSF has appointed Karen Broom - from the consumer retail sector - and Peter McMinn as respective account executives for Yorkshire and Northern Ireland. The latter has experience in both husiness-to-business and consumer marketing with TR1-Mobile Communications.

Oxygen

Lloyd's accredited broker Oxygen Insurance Brokers has appointed Keith Rutter and James Kelly from NCG Professional Risks to specialise in international liability insurance.

H&R Insurance

Colin Macdonald has been appointed commercial insurance adviser with Aberdeenshire-based H&R Insurance Services with the specific remit of business development. His career started with Guardian Royal Exchange in 1976, gaining over 25 years' commercial broking experience with Bank of Scotland Insurance Services and latterly Aon.
