Health Care Premiums Were up 15.8 Percent in California in 2003.

Mar. 17--Health insurance premiums in California have risen at a steeper rate than the national average, according to a survey of the state's employers released yesterday.

On average, California employers and workers paid 15.8 percent more in health premiums in 2003 than they paid the previous year, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Health Research and Education Trust.
