Sally Turberville

The Turberville anniversary was saddened by the death of John's wife, Sally Turberville, after a tremendous fight against cancer. Sally was a registered insurance broker and director of Amersham Insurance Brokers Ltd. She will be remembered for many things, not least the encouraging welcome she gave

to all visitors to the Chesham office, both customers and insurer representatives alike. Not that inspectors got an easy time if their office had fallen down on the job! Sally's main love (apart from husband John, of course) was Fulham football club and her fund raising on their behalf in the pre-Al Fayed era is fondly recalled. The celebrity golf day she tirelessly organised always enjoyed a good turnout from sponsors and celebrities from the entertainment and sporting worlds.

Sally will be sorely missed and a visit to Chesham will never be quite the same again.
