Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Inc. (BCBSMA) signed an agreement with McKesson Corp., to implement the full suite of InterQual products. The terms enable BCBSMA to expand use of the behavioral health criteria to its 3 million members and add criteria products such as: InterQual Acute, Long-Term

Acute Care, Subacute, Home Care, Outpatient Rehabilitation and Chiropractic, as well as, Retrospective Monitoring criteria for invasive procedures. BCBSMA is using the product suite to enhance the quality of care for its members as well as to decrease document duplication, enhance medical review efficiency and improve quality reporting.
