Amisys Synertech Completes New Software License Sale for AMISYS Advance and Announces New BPO...

Deals Exemplify Comprehensive Range of Products and Services Company Offers to Health Plans

Amisys Synertech Inc., the new market leader of advanced software products

and world-class outsourcing and claims processing services for healthcare payers, has signed two new contracts with health plans valued in excess of $3 million. The new sales clearly demonstrate the scope of the administrative and business solutions the newly formed Amisys Synertech delivers to healthcare payers.

According to Amisys Synertech President and CEO Kevin R. The two new business contracts are summarized below:

-- AMISYS Advance License. Prevea Health Plan, based in Green Bay

Wis., offering HMO, POS, PPO and Medicare supplemental

insurance programs to employers and seniors, will purchase a

license for Release 1 of the AMISYS Advance payer software

system, an enterprise-wide, robust application that assists

health plans with administrative functions, such as claims

processing, membership, enrollment, capitation and HIPAA

enablement. Prevea was utilizing the AMISYS 3000 product under

a hosted arrangement to process claims for its members. Under

terms of its agreement, Amisys Synertech will provide the

AMISYS Advance software, the evolutionary replacement for

AMISYS 3000, implementation and support services and will sell

third-party hardware and software to Prevea.

-- BPO services. Jai Medical Systems, Inc., a Baltimore,

Md.-based health maintenance organization, selected the

Synertech Operations of Amisys Synertech to host its AMISYS

3000 Release 11.01 and process claims for Jai Medical Systems'

members. Synertech Operations is delivering a range of

business and technology functions, including electronic

enrollment, member ID card production, provider record

maintenance, authorization capabilities, coordination of

benefits and third-party liability services and capitation.

Under terms of its agreement, Jai Medical Systems can migrate

AMISYS 3000 to the AMISYS Advance product. Jai Seunarine, CEO

of Jai Medical Systems, said "We selected Amisys Synertech for
