NACDS joins forces with Express Scripts.(Topics)

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The National Association of Chain Drug Stores and Express Scripts Inc., one of the nation's largest pharmacy benefits managers, have joined to seek endorsement of a national Medicare discount card.

The application will be submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by the Pharmacy Care Alliance, which was formed by NACDS in 2002 to unite groups interested in educating low-income seniors about prescription drug assistance programs.
