Fruitcake idea is half-baked

I vote for the recount. Your ``less than 10'' fruitcakes theory is indeed half-baked (Keith Crain, ``Let every fruitcake be counted, lawyers say,'' Dec. 18.). It neglects to reflect two critical factors:

1. I completely consumed the fruitcake you sent last year, thereby removing it from circulation forever.

2. I put three fruitcakes into circulation after finding out where to get the ones we yearned for for so long.
