Jacada Integrator Integrates Siebel eHealthcare 7
with Core Mainframe Functionality
Jacada Ltd. (Nasdaq: JCDA) today announced that AdminaStar Federal, a Medicare contractor, has selected Jacada Integrator
By using Jacada Integrator to provide connectivity between CMS' six IBM mainframe computing systems and 19 data centers into Siebel eHealthcare 7, CMS is improving communications between the agency, its 40 million beneficiaries, more than one million healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Currently, CMS' call center representatives must access multiple applications to service customer-specific inquiries. In July, CMS will begin to roll out Siebel eHealthcare 7 in combination with Jacada Integrator to more than 70 of its call centers nationwide to provide representatives with a single, unified application that accesses all of the systems necessary to handle customer service needs. When the rollout is complete, more than 40,000,000 calls per year will be handled by the new integrated desktop.
Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEBL) is the world's leading provider of eBusiness applications software. Siebel Systems provides an integrated family of eBusiness applications software, enabling multichannel sales, marketing, and customer service systems to be deployed over the Web, in call centers, in the field, through reseller channels, and across retail and dealer networks. Siebel eHealthcare 7 enables healthcare organizations to successfully manage member, provider, employer group, and agent/broker relationships throughout their entire life cycle and across all touchpoints. Siebel eHealthcare 7 offers robust health insurance functionality that enables customers, partners, and employees to access one common set of information including policy, eligibility, benefits, billing, and claims status as well as track all interactions across the ecosystem.
With complete access to all data systems, customer service representatives will be able to more quickly and accurately service caller requests, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction. By providing a single point of access to multiple, complex information sources, CMS will ensure consistent adherence to policies across all of the contact centers managed.
"Our goal is to provide callers with information that is accurate, reliable, and understandable. In support of this goal we are making many enhancements to our call center infrastructure and the way we manage our call centers. By implementing a standardized desktop application, we are taking the first of many steps that will result in measurable improvements to the customer service we provide to our callers," said Mary Agnes Laureno, Director of Beneficiary Information Services Group at CMS.
