PITTSBURGH -- Mitchell Resnick, D.O., M.B.A., has accepted the position of medical director for HealthAmerica and HealthAssurance's western Pennsylvania region. In this role, Dr. Resnick will manage medical affairs in western Pennsylvania, including responsibility for the medical administration
Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Dr. Resnick served as medical director for Cigna/Intracorp in Pittsburgh. He was also a practicing internist with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for nine years. Dr. Resnick has worked as a consulting internist with Providence Community Health Systems in Rhode Island and as a medical consultant with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island. He received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and his master's in business administration from Bryant University.
