Health Net, Inc. (NYSE: HNT) will host its quarterly conference call and webcast to discuss third quarter results and 2002 outlook on Friday, October 25, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. Pacific Time). Earnings

will be announced after the market closes on Thursday, October 24, 2002. The call was previously scheduled for November 5, 2002.
