Attendees say rising costs, retention challenges are priorities.(Brief Article)

Sampling the opinion of benefits professionals attending the recent Benefits Management Forum & Expo in Chicago, a poll conducted by consulting firm ASA Inc. in conjunction with Employee Benefit News finds increasing prescription drug costs and sponsorship of new or enhanced benefits to aid retention are the top benefits priorities for 2001.

When asked to identify the top benefits priority for the next year, 35% said controlling prescription drug expenses and 35% said offering new or enhanced benefit plans to help attract and retain talent.
