West Virginia House, Senate Work on Prescription-Drug Plan.

Mar. 13--House and Senate conferees trying to come up with a plan to rein in soaring prescription drug costs were working on a carrot-or-the-hammer approach Friday.

On Friday, the 10-member panel was negotiating on a hybrid plan to incorporate elements of the both the House and Senate versions of the bill (HB4084).

"Counsel is working on basically combining both bills," Delegate Tom Campbell, D-Greenbrier, said Friday evening.
