Video over IP.

The IFS EtherNav DEVT100 is an MPEG 4 video CODEC with optical Ethernet output, and is mechanically and environmentally hardened for use in unconditioned environments. The device allows a single baseband NTSC video, camera control data and audio signal to be IP encoded and transported on a 10/100

Base-T Ethernet network through a standard electrical and optical output. Typically, CODECs require an additional media converter to accomplish an optical output. The unit is controlled with Symnet software that allows monitoring and remote pan/tilt/ zoom control that can be accomplished by a central monitoring station or any computer with an Internet connection. The output of the DEV7100 series can be 10/100TX electrical, 100 FX optical or a baseband video output connection. It has the capability to be remotely configured via the Internet. It also features standard, medium and high-quality settings for bandwidth conservation, and functions as both an encoder and decoder.--IFS
