Aurora Public Schools (APS), the sixth-largest school district in Colorado, has deployed Orthogon Systems' OS-Gemini and OS-Spectra Ethernet point-to-point bridges to increase bandwidth and establish a next-generation network that will be able to handle future applications such as VoIP, video and

distance learning. The wireless solution was deployed connecting 26 elementary schools and one K-8 school. "In order for our students to take advantage of new learning tools, we needed significantly more bandwidth to deploy these advanced voice/video applications" says Mark Lindstone, APS chief information officer.
