The Midspan Power-over-Ethernet (POE) Controller provides a
flexible way to power IP telephony devices and other applications over a
local area network. The IEEE 802.3af-compliant power source ensures
reliability of service for Ethernet devices such as IP telephones, Wi-Fi
access points, security
cameras and other network components requiring
12.95 watts or less. The Controller eliminates the need for installation
of local power at the device, saving time and money. Power for the
network device is generated in a large corporation's
telecommunications room, which is usually backed up by an uninterrupted
power supply, and delivered over standard Category 5, 5e or 6 Ethernet
LAN cabling.--ADC
