Future Networks USA starts "Skateboard Trade News" & "Snowboard Trade News".

Future Networks USA (South San Francisco, CA), a producer of consumer gaming, action sports, computing and musician magazines and a unit of The Future Network (London), has begun the publication of "Skateboard Trade News" and "Snowboard Trade News" magazines.

"Snowboard Trade News"

is being produced quarterly and has a controlled circulation of 10,500 including North American specialty retailers and manufacturers, industry advertisers and association members, and industry professionals overseas. Future said each issue carries "retailer-specific" information on how to sell, how to stock and how to prepare for seasonal sales. Content includes interviews with retailers, reports and discussions on regional sales and industry news, and resort-based information to "facilitate dialogue between resorts, suppliers and the entertainment community."

Content also includes information on new products, outwear and accessories, industry statistics, merchandising, back-shop operations and related retail management issues.

"Skateboard Trade News" will be published six times a year for a controlled circulation of 9,000 skateboard retailers, shop owners, industry reps, employees and manufacturers. Each issue "covers what retailers need to know to remain competitive and grow their businesses," Future said, including new products, new research, proprietary retailer surveys and industry news. Content also covers footwear, hard goods, related accessories and ancillary products.

Future Network USA produces over 20 consumer gaming, music, computer and living titles, including "PC Garner," "Official Xbox Magazine," "MacAddict," "Guitar One," "Maximum PC" and "Decorating Spaces."
