Content includes discussions on general education advocacy strategies, education rights and relevant federal laws, the special education process, school discipline policies, and potential education barriers. Finally, 'How to Work with Your Court: A Guide for Child Welfare Agency Administrators' is designed to help improve agency/court relationships and contains recommendations for strengthening child welfare agency attorney offices and improving agency-court collaborations. It includes strategies for working with courts and judges and information on developing special court projects, training workers for court appearances, using agency attorneys and advice for improving child welfare agency legal representation.
