International Publishing Handbook.

The International Federation of the Periodical Press (FIPP; London) has published the first edition of International Publishing Handbook, a guide that examines the nuances of cross-border magazine publishing. Focusing on business models currently available to publishers, the guide includes information

on how to get started, finding a partner, personnel needs, licensing and brokering a deal, and how to work with foreign partners. The information in the book, produced by Cue Ball Media (Boulder, CO), was gathered from interviews with over 25 publishers which have either exported or imported foreign titles. It costs 180[pounds sterling].
