Capitol City Publishers (Arlington, VA) has begun the publication of Criminal Justice Funding Report. An annual subscription to the newsletter, published 26 times a year, costs $258.
Targeted to criminal justice professionals, including those involved in corrections and law enforcement as well as attorneys, the publication is designed to assist in locating and winning federal and private-sector funding for related law enforcement, corrections and court programs. The report "shows exactly the funding (readers) need to keep anti-crime and criminal justice programs up and running," Capitol City said.
Editorial includes information on recent developments in federal legislation, new programs, case studies, funding priorities, appropriations and deadlines in the grant process. It includes analysis of new programs, stories on program profiles and mental health programs, the position of the executive branch on various related issues, police funding, highlights of relevant federal appropriations, community policing, and juvenile justice.
It also carries listings of federal grant deadlines, and such section headings as "Grant & Regulation Alert" and "Funding Notes."
