The U. S. Navy Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego branch has awarded a $7.0 million contract to Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC).
This contract calls for RRC to provide operations and maintenance support services at the Navy Radio Transmitting Facility in Dixon, California and provides support to other related facilities in the surrounding area. These facilities are a critical link in the Navy's worldwide Information Technology and Information Operations (IT/IO) communications network. This effort will support the Naval Network Warfare Command, the Navy's central authority for space services, information technology, network and information operations in support of naval forces afloat and ashore. The contract period of performance is three and one-half years.

Under the contract, RRC will operate and maintain a high frequency (HF) and low frequency (LF) radio transmitting facility site at Dixon, California, sites atop Mt. Diablo and Mt. Vaca, and various radio receivers at the Lincoln receiver site in Lincoln, California.
