Daniel Lalonde Appointed President & CEO of Louis Vuitton, N.A.

NEW YORK -- LVMH MoE1/2t Hennessy Louis Vuitton ("LVMH"), the world's leading luxury products group, today announced that Daniel A. Lalonde has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton North America, effective January 1, 2007. Mr. Lalonde currently serves as the President

& CEO of LVMH Watch & Jewelry N.A.

Philippe Schaus, Senior Vice President, International of Louis Vuitton, said, "Daniel Lalonde is a highly skilled luxury brand executive. Mr. Lalonde assumed his current position at LVMH Watch & Jewelry N.A. in April 2002. Before joining LVMH, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Nestle Nespresso S.A. and prior to that President of Nestle Nespresso Inc. in New York. Mr. Lalonde holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD (France) and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo (Canada).

In his new position at Louis Vuitton, Mr. Lalonde succeeds Jean-Marc Gallot, who was appointed President, Europe of Louis Vuitton earlier this year. Philip Corne, Louis Vuitton's President in Australia and New Zealand, has served as Acting President & CEO of Louis Vuitton N.A. since Mr. Gallot's departure and will continue to do so until Mr. Lalonde's arrival.
